About this role
At Novocarbo, we work as a team to solve one of the most important problems of our time: our goal is to store 100 million tons of CO2 from the atmosphere annually, making a significant contribution to achieving climate goals.
We are one of the largest producers and distributors of biochar in Europe and sell our Carbon Removal Credits to renowned companies worldwide. Several new sites for the production of biochar and regenerative heat are already in planning. To continue this positive momentum, we are looking for a Product Manager (all genders) with a focus on our Biochar & Substrates Unit. This position will manage the Agriculture & Soil product portfolio and will play a valueable role in the company’s growth.

Your profile
These are your professional qualifications we’d appreciate:- You have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Agriculture Science, Soil Science, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- You bring at least 2 years of product management experience and a strong understanding of sustainability concepts within the Soil & Substrates industry.
- You are familiar with sustainable material formulations, testing, and technical aspects of soil & substrate products and can demonstrate success in leading end-to-end product developments.
- You communicate fluently in German and English. Any other language is a plus.
- You have a high IT-tool affinity: we mainly work with MS 365 and Notion.
These are your personal qualifications we’d appreciate:- You have a good understanding of complex environments and growing industries, such as the Carbon Removal and Biochar Market.
- You bring in a high level of accountability and willingness to drive our projects to success.
- You use a strong, data-driven and analytical mindset to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics as well as identifying and solving problems.
- Working in a diverse team motivates you and sharing success is what you strive for. Communication is key for us!
- You are able and willing to travel in- and outside of Germany (depending on projects) and have a driver’s license (B).
